Complete Removal of Ahmad Massoud’s Circle from the Resistance Council; The Council is Trying to Isolate Hazrat Ali as Well

Under the leadership of Ahmad Massoud, the Resistance Front was one of the key factions of the National Resistance Council. It played a significant role in the council’s decisions, travels, secret meetings with regional and global intelligence organizations, and recent developments. However, within this council, there were individuals like Atta Muhammad Noor and Dostum, who still have differences against Ahmad Massoud.

The recent findings of Voice of Hindukush indicate that Ahmad Massoud believes that all the former leaders gathered in the Shura are, in his words, “historically obsolete” and unworthy of consideration in the Afghan issue. However, Atta Muhammad Noor and Dostum view Massoud as an “arrogant, self-serving, disrespectful, and fallen individual.” Both sides are deeply suspicious of each other for several other reasons, to the point that this suspicion has turned into a reality.

According to sources from the Voice of Hindukush, some time ago, Fazl Ahmad Manawi, a member of the leadership council of the Resistance Front, faced harsh and accusatory questions from Atta Mohammad Noor during a council meeting, alleging that he was spying for the Taliban. Despite Fazl Ahmad Manawi providing clarifications about himself, Atta Mohammad Noor’s suspicions remained unfounded, and nearly two months ago, he finally forced Fazl Ahmad Manawi to leave the council.

After this, the Resistance Front and the Jamiat-e Islami party, led by Salahuddin Rabbani and Ata Mohammad Noor, announced their separation from the National Assembly. However, they also secretly severed all ties with the Resistance Front. Although the Resistance Front and Ismail Khan have not openly communicated their separation from the Council to the other members, in other words, they are still considered members of the Council, a while ago, during a visit to Iran by a delegation from the Resistance Front led by Mohaqiq, no opinion or consultation was sought from the Resistance Front and Ismail Khan.

In addition, the only remaining ally of Ahmad Massoud in the council, Hazrat Ali, who was already in Iran, was not informed about the developments and was not consulted at all. This action faced severe criticism from Hazrat Ali, and accordingly, Ahmad Massoud made an emergency trip to Iran, which was considered a form of protest and reaction against the Resistance Council.

Recent findings from the Voice of Hindukush indicate that the Resistance Council has included Ahmad Massoud, Salahuddin Rabbani, and Ismail Khan in its list, and they may soon be forced to leave the council by utilizing a policy of isolation.

It is worth mentioning that the Resistance Council currently considers the Resistance Front led by Ahmad Massoud, the Jamiat group led by Salahuddin Rabbani, and Ismail Khan as its main rivals, and the differences among them are increasing. In the near future, the delegation from the Resistance Council going to Pakistan will also have a competitive stance against Ahmad Massoud, Salahuddin Rabbani, and Ismail Khan.
