Officials from the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Panjshir Province have announced the initiation of the construction of 50 drinking water supply networks in the province.
These networks, financed by the World Bank at a cost of $2.1 million, will provide drinking water to 9,000 households.
The networks will be established in the areas of Shatal, Anaba, Rukh, Hessa Awal, Paryan, and the provincial capital, Bazarak.
The water supply systems will benefit 9,000 families, 126 mosques, 6 clinics, 24 schools, and one madrasa.
