The Ministry of Finance has announced that eight cranes worth more than $1.452 million have been purchased for six customs offices in the country in order to speed up customs operations and facilitate services for traders.

The ministry’s spokesman, Abdul Qayoom Nasir, added that these cranes were manufactured in 2025, and each of them has the capacity to lift 25 tons.

According to him, the cranes will be handed over to the customs offices of Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Nimroz, Herat, and Farah.
