Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat has announced the commencement of the installation of a 30-megawatt capacity capacitor bank at the Hamesha Bahar substation in Nangarhar province.

According to the source, this project aims to enhance voltage stability, reduce energy losses, and improve service delivery to consumers.

At the inauguration ceremony, DABS CEO Dr. Abdul Bari Omar stated that trillions of dollars were spent in Afghanistan over the past 20 years; however, despite this expenditure, the people of Afghanistan still lack access to fundamental infrastructure and essential public services and facilities.

It is worth noting that DABS has also recently launched a 40-megawatt solar power project for the Sheikh Mesri Industrial Park in Nangarhar and a 10-megawatt solar project for Laghman province.
