Afghan Defense Ministry said Pakistani forces opened fire on Afghan positions from a military outpost in Spin Boldak district of Kandahar province yesterday. Afghan forces responded by targeting and destroying the outpost, adding that no Afghan personnel were killed or injured in the clash.
The ministry rejected Pakistani claims that Afghan forces had suffered casualties, saying the claims being circulated by the Pakistani side were unfounded.
