The Economic Deputy Office of the Prime Minister’s Office has announced that over the past two months, investments totaling 8.2 billion AFN have been attracted in the electricity sector.
According to the statement, these investments in electricity production, distribution, and transmission are expected to generate 138.45 megawatts of electricity, benefiting approximately 100,000 households and numerous industrial factories.
It is noteworthy that since the re-establishment of the caretaker government, various projects have been implemented to achieve self-sufficiency in the electricity sector, particularly focusing on solar, wind, and hydroelectric power.
