    Development Projects Worth 8.1 Billion Afghanis Implemented in Kabul City Last Year

    The Deputy Mayor for Construction Affairs of Kabul Municipality, Engineer Amir Zmarak Yaser, has stated that Kabul Municipality implemented 258 development projects in solar year 1404 at a cost of 8.1 billion Afghanis.

    Mr. Yaser made these remarks during a ceremony marking International Workers’ Day, organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and added that most of these projects have already been put into operation.

    According to him, these projects were carried out in various sectors, including road construction, sanitation, greenery, urban development, and other areas.

    The Deputy Mayor for Construction Affairs of Kabul Municipality further stated that in the past year, 138 kilometers of roads were constructed and made operational in Kabul city.

    He also said that Kabul Municipality is striving to provide suitable job opportunities for young people.
