A group of archaeologists from France and Switzerland has found tombs that are 4,000 years old in Saqqara, south of Cairo, Egypt.

These tombs are called “mastaba” tombs and are made from bricks. They have flat roofs and sloping walls, typical of ancient Egyptian tombs.

The tombs belong to important people from Egypt’s past, such as relatives of Pharaoh Khufu and other high-ranking officials. One notable find is the tomb of Teti Neb Foo, who was the Master physician or doctor in the court of Pharaoh Pepi II.
