    According to the Iraqi state news agency, Iraq’s Ambassador to Turkey, Majid Al-Lajmaawi, and Mohammad Zubair Wadan, the Acting Head of Afghanistan’s Embassy, convened in Ankara to deliberate on enhancing bilateral relations, expanding mutual cooperation, and exploring the potential reopening of embassies between the two nations.

    The source indicates that both diplomats emphasized the necessity of reactivating formal and political relations between Iraq and Afghanistan to facilitate comprehensive cooperation.
