    Discussions Held on the Problems of Afghan Refugees Returning from Pakistan and Iran

    Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Qatar, Mohammad Suhail Shaheen, met with the Deputy High Commissioner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Venza Matar.

    The Afghan Embassy in Qatar said that during the meeting, both sides discussed the problems faced by Afghan refugees returning from Iran and Pakistan, as well as the assistance provided to refugees by the Commission.

    Mr. Shaheen expressed hope that the UN High Commissioner for Refugees would further strengthen its humanitarian support role.
