Doha’s Fourth Meeting; Continued Isolation of Opposition Groups and Political Profiteers

Modern Afghan history testifies that whenever the true sons of this land have raised their voices for independence, factions aligned with foreign interests have attempted to thwart their efforts. The initial Doha Agreement marked the beginning of independence, while the latest Doha meetings signify progress in the political sphere. However, certain groups have propagated false narratives about these agreements and meetings to protect their personal interests.

The fourth Doha meeting represents the continuation of international efforts to establish closer engagement with the caretaker government. On one hand, it may accelerate political and economic cooperation, and on the other, it opens a new chapter toward the potential recognition of the caretaker government.

Participants in this meeting include representatives from Islamic countries, international organizations, and various states. The agenda includes rebuilding Afghanistan’s economic status and coordinating humanitarian aid. The continuity of these meetings is also seen as tacit recognition of the caretaker government’s legitimacy.

Dawood Naji, head of the political committee of the “Freedom Front,” unjustly places the entire blame for the crisis solely on the caretaker government, conveniently ignoring the dark era of the corrupt republic, internal mafias, and foreign occupation. This represents a denial of historical responsibility and a distortion of facts. If the truth is acknowledged, it reveals that over two decades of occupation allowed a few limited networks to squander billions of dollars through corruption and opportunism, pushing Afghanistan into the abyss of foreign interference, political chaos, and economic downfall.

Those burning in the fire of their own political isolation now attempt to sabotage the fourth Doha meeting process to serve their own marginal and isolated agendas. In reality, this process genuinely represents the aspirations of the Afghan people.

Calls to halt the fourth Doha meeting are nothing more than rumors spread by a handful of individuals who seek to mask their political defeat under the guise of national representation. But the Afghan people are no longer deceived—they reject the repetition of occupation and will not tolerate the return of those who have consistently imposed foreign agendas on them.

The “Freedom Front” has launched a campaign against the fourth Doha meeting in a desperate bid to compensate for its political isolation, regain international support, and pave the way for the return of the former corrupt regime and foreign occupation. Ultimately, the objective of these efforts is to deprive Afghans of independent decision-making and national sovereignty, turning Afghanistan once again into a playground for external interests.

Those who sabotage every legitimate agreement and constructive meeting in Afghanistan’s interest must understand that the Afghan nation’s memory is neither weak nor misguided. The people now know who stands behind the political bartering over their fate.

The fourth Doha meeting will bring Afghanistan even closer to international legitimacy, while all political profiteers and illegitimate groups will remain isolated and, as always, excluded from the agenda of these meetings.
