The Ministry of Finance’s Directorate of Petroleum Quality and Supervision has reported that, in accordance with established standards, 124 tanker trucks carrying low-quality imported petroleum products have been rejected at various customs points across the country.
According to the ministry’s statement, among the rejected shipments, 88 tankers of diesel were turned away from Farah customs, while 33 tankers of diesel and 3 tankers of liquefied gas were rejected at Nimroz customs.
It is worth noting that similar actions have been taken in the past, with hundreds of tankers carrying substandard fuel denied entry into the country and sent back.
