The central spokesperson of the acting government, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, stated that the Eid al-Adha prayer in Kandahar was led by the leadership of the acting government.
Mujahid wrote on his X page: “Today, the Eid al-Adha prayer was performed at the Eidgah of Kandahar under the leadership of the esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin, with thousands of city residents in attendance.”
It is noteworthy that today (Saturday, Jawza 17) marks the first day of Eid al-Adha in Afghanistan and several other countries in the region.
