Afghanistan’s Ambassador and Special Representative to Russia, Mawlawi Gul Hasan Hasan, met with the First Deputy Governor of Russia’s Central Bank, Vladimir Chistyukhin.
The Afghan Embassy in Russia wrote that during the meeting, both sides discussed expanding banking and economic cooperation.
Mr. Hasan expressed hope for the development of the banking sector, strengthening technical cooperation, and professional training. He also emphasized establishing direct banking relations, facilitating and accelerating money transfers, and providing necessary facilities for traders.
Meanwhile, the Russian side assured cooperation in strengthening the banking system and related facilities.
