The Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the operations by Afghan security and defense forces against the “evil and corruption” groups and ISIS militants who crossed over from the other side of the Hypothetical Durand Line with the assistance of the Pakistani military regime have ended today in Kamdesh District of Nuristan Province.
According to the Ministry of Defense, a total of 41 armed members of the “evil and corruption” groups and ISIS militants were killed and 62 others were captured alive during the operations.
The Ministry added that Afghan security and defense forces will not allow anyone to create insecurity in the country, and said that anyone who attempts to do so again will face a strong response.
