    EU Emphasizes Continued Cooperation with Afghanistan’s Agricultural Sector

    The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock stated that the Deputy Minister, Mawlawi Sadr Azam Osmani, met with the European Union’s Deputy for Economic Affairs and the United Nations Development Programme’s agriculture official on the sidelines of the 34th Agricultural and Livestock Products Exhibition held at Badam Bagh in Kabul.

    Mr. Osmani expressed his appreciation for the participation of the European Union’s representative and discussed the organization process of the exhibition, as well as ongoing activities in the agriculture, livestock, and irrigation sectors.

    During the meeting, the EU’s Deputy for Economic Affairs spoke about the Union’s assistance and programs and emphasized the continuation of cooperation with Afghanistan’s agricultural sector.

    He described the organization of this exhibition as an important initiative by the Ministry of Agriculture and an effective opportunity for marketing domestic products.
