Sputnik News reported that French President Emmanuel Macron said Paris is preparing a mission plan, in coordination with Iran, aimed at strengthening security in the Strait of Hormuz.
He added that the mission, which has been initiated by France and the United Kingdom, is intended to ensure the restoration of maritime communications in the region. According to him, the initiative would be implemented in coordination with Iran once the necessary conditions are met.
Iran has not yet issued any official response to the French initiative.
