Five family members tragically lost their lives due to gas poisoning last night in Khost province. The incident occurred in an apartment located in the center of the city, with one of the victims being a woman.

Tahir Ahrar, a spokesperson for Khost police, said the family was from Surobi district in Paktika. They had come to Khost province to get medical treatment for one of their family members.

This sad event happened just days after another tragedy in Khost, where a gas cylinder explosion killed three members of a different family.
