The Panjshir Provincial Governor’s Office has announced the discovery of a green garnet gemstone mine in the Abdara area of Anaba district of the province.
According to the source, the professional extraction license for the mine has been granted to an individual named Syed Rahim.
The Panjshir Provincial Governor’s Office stated that the green garnet mine will play a significant role in the development of the province’s economy and mining sector.
Based on available information, around 15,000 people are currently employed directly and indirectly in the mining sector of Panjshir province.
