According to international media reports, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas stated in a press release that a negotiating delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya departed for Cairo on Saturday, following an official invitation from the Egyptian government.

The report added that during the visit, the delegation will hold meetings with Qatari and Egyptian mediators to discuss ways to re-establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

It is worth noting that Egypt and Qatar continue their mediation between Hamas and the Zionist regime of Israel at a time when the regime is relentlessly continuing its attacks on the Gaza Strip.
