The Hamas Islamic Movement has strongly rejected Egypt’s proposal, which suggested that all Palestinian factions, including Hamas, should refrain from using rockets and weapons in attacks on Israel.
In an official statement, Hamas condemned the proposal, which also called for the movement to store all of its weapons and rockets under the supervision of Egypt and Europe until the establishment of a Palestinian state, while avoiding their use against Israel.
