    Head of National Environmental Protection Agency(NEPA) Discusses Strengthening Cooperation with WFP Officials

    On Thursday (Thawr 25), the Director of the National Environmental Protection Agency, Mawlawi Matiulhaq Khalis, met with officials from the World Food Programme (WFP).

    According to the Agency’s press release, the meeting focused on climate change, environmental challenges, attracting international aid, and strengthening joint cooperation.

    WFP representative in Afghanistan, Harald Mannhardt, emphasized continued technical cooperation and coordination, pledging that WFP will maintain its support for Afghanistan in the areas of climate and environment.

    At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties emphasized joint coordination and agreed that their technical teams would continue working together to attract international assistance for combating environmental issues and climate change.
