The Ministry of Interior Affairs announced that security forces in Herat Province arrested 21 individuals in connection with the trafficking and sale of narcotics.
The ministry added that security forces recovered 16 kilograms of hashish, more than 1,000 narcotic tablets, and other illegal drugs from the detained individuals.
The Ministry of Interior Affairs noted that the detainees will be handed over to judicial and legal authorities following initial police investigations.
