According to Indian security officials cited by the Hindustan Times, the deadly attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 tourists was orchestrated by Pakistan’s intelligence agency (ISI) and the armed group Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The report adds that the attack was carried out under direct instructions from Pakistan’s political and military leadership, aiming to destabilize the region, instill fear, and weaken India’s security situation.

Pakistan has not yet issued any response to these allegations by Indian authorities.
