    Imran Khan and His Wife Sentenced and Fined in Corruption Case

    A Pakistani court has sentenced Imran Khan, the former Pakistani Prime Minister and leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, to 14 years in prison for a £190 million corruption case and his wife Bushra Bibi, on the other hand was sentenced to 7 years in prison.

    The sentences were announced by Judge Nasir Javed Rana inside Adiala Jail. According to reports, Imran Khan and his wife were transferred to another part of the prison for a verdict hearing.

    Besides the prison sentences, Imran Khan has been fined one million Pakistani rupees, while his wife Bushra was fined five hundred thousand Pakistani rupees.
