Recently, disputes, power struggles, and personal rivalries have increasingly intensified within the fictional group known as the Resistance. Given these disputes and personal rivalries, it seems likely that the Resistance Front may soon dissolve and completely disappear.
Although the Resistance Front warns of imaginary armed attacks against the caretaker government in Afghanistan and occasionally claims guerrilla attacks in Kabul and several other provinces, these are the things they continuously publish online to make themselves relevant to the world.
But so far, regional and international countries have not reached the conclusion and belief that the Resistance Front has taken to the battlefield against the caretaker government or that the caretaker government has been considered a serious threat.
According to the international community, the Resistance Front aims to occupy people’s minds and portray its failed policies as successful by creating imaginary victories and spreading rumors.
In their view, the Resistance Front diverts people’s attention from reality to strengthen its political position and thus seeks to pave the way for its political stance (which is facing isolation) on the international stage.
In addition, financial corruption, the distribution of privileges, and the pursuit of personal gains within the leadership of the Resistance Front have become another game of competition among the members of the front, which has recently seen significant growth.
Due to the leadership of the front and the distribution of privileges between Ahmad Massoud and Amrullah Saleh, the front has been divided into two parts.
In one faction known as the Resistance Front, all power is monopolized by Ahmad Massoud, while in the other faction, the “Green Trend,” which is currently accelerating its establishment efforts, Amrullah Saleh has stepped forward for leadership.
The money given to them by foreign intelligence is all collected into the personal pockets of the resistance front leadership and Ahmad Massoud’s close relatives, which in turn has intensified personal rivalries within the front.
Some time ago, the Voice of Hindukush also published documents and audio clips related to the internal conflicts, personal rivalries, disputes, and controversies within this party; from these audio clips, it is evident that widespread corruption, personal rivalries, and deep divisions have reached extreme levels within the ResistanceFront.
It must not be forgotten, that some regional intelligence agencies still covertly support the Resistance Front, but political analysts and some social media activists consider this support a failure and weakness of the Resistance Front’s political position. In their view, the support from foreign intelligence agencies for the Resistance Front is aimed at instigating civil wars and increasing their influence over the caretaker government through opposition.
Similarly, the internal conflicts among the members of the fronts in Tajikistan, Iran, and Vienna have led to the further isolation of the so-called resistances. The Vienna meeting, which aimed to gather and motivate the groups and fronts formed abroad to resolve their internal conflicts and reach an agreement, prompted Amrullah Saleh to accelerate the efforts of the separate movement called the Green Trend.
