India’s Ministry of External Affairs announced that a humanitarian aid consignment has arrived in Kabul to assist families affected by the devastating floods in Nuristan.

Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said the shipment, comprising food supplies and tents, has been delivered to Afghanistan’s Disaster Management Authority to support relief efforts for flood-affected communities.

He said India stands with the people of Afghanistan during this difficult time and remains committed to providing further assistance as needed.

Several other countries have also expressed solidarity with Afghanistan following the devastating floods in Nuristan and pledged humanitarian support.
