Reliable information received by Voice of Hindukush indicates that a new wave of internal disputes has begun among members of the “Resistance Front” in Iran. According to the information, a verbal altercation broke out between two key members of the group, Hashim Regwal and Rahimullah, in the Chahar Shaheed Boulevar area of Mashhad city. The dispute later escalated into a physical clash, leaving Rahimullah seriously injured.
In an audio clip received by Voice of Hindukush, Rahimullah, after being injured, states that Regwal publicly and on social media portrays himself as an enemy of Punjab; however, in reality, his family holds Pakistani passports, and he himself receives payment in exchange for working for the Pakistani regime.
These key Iran-based members of the Resistance Front have recently turned against each other due to internal disagreements, and following Rahimullah’s injury, Hashim Regwal is facing threats from the opposing group.
These Iran-based resistance members are accusing one another of spying for Pakistan at a time when, in recent days, Ahmad Massoud and other leaders have made direct and indirect statements in defense of the Pakistani regime.
According to analysts, after losing hope in the United States and Europe, the Resistance and other fronts are now seeking refuge in Pakistan.
