Since the fall of the republican regime, a group of notorious Afghan figures calling themselves the “Resistance Front” came together. However, due to a lack of popular support, this front faced defeat sooner than expected and began to decline.
After that day, the followers of this front made great efforts to gain a foothold in European countries and secure projects from their Western masters, just as they had during the Republic. As a result, after much effort and being driven out of these countries, they rushed toward Tajikistan, a country that at the time had little relationship with the new Afghan government due to some misunderstandings.
This very fact led to Tajikistan becoming the main haven for notorious figures of the Resistance Front. However, since Tajikistan was also seeking to normalize its relations with the new Afghan government, it wasn’t long before this country also turned down the duped members of this sham front and expelled them.
It was here that Pakistan, after recent conflicts with the Afghan government, extended a helping hand to its old servants; the very ones who once chanted anti-Pakistan slogans to deceive the people. They rushed toward Pakistan, hoping that thru this country, they could gain a foothold in Afghanistan and return to the service of the enemies of the Afghan nation.
According to Pakistani analysts, the country’s military regime has recently received a plan from its American master to destabilize Afghanistan and has now employed the puppet resistance front to implement this sinister plan. Now, will this ominous project proceed as the United States expects, and will Pakistan, with the support of this sham front, be able to implement such a project? In the following article, we will delve into these topics.
Undoubtedly, for Pakistan, which is in the worst possible situation itself, implementing such a plan in reality is not only difficult but also considered impossible. How can a country that lacks political stability itself, where insecurity, corruption, and poverty are rampant, whose people are more distanced from it than ever before, and whose government is drowning in multi-billion dollar World Bank debts, possibly challenge the people of Afghanistan with a few infamous and rejected figures?
On the other hand, the Resistance Front has brought nothing but humiliation and disgrace to its followers, not only now but throughout its ignominious history. Throughout this time, they have also lost the few foreign supporters they had. Pakistan wants to use this front as a pressure tool against the current Afghan government, even tho this front, with the decisive and comprehensive support of the West, was unable to achieve anything during the twenty years of the republic.
In contrast, the current government of Afghanistan, unlike during the republic, is not a puppet regime or dependent on foreigners, but a government with complete independence; a government that, despite not being recognized by other countries, still maintains good relations with them and has significant interactions with each other.
In such a situation, not only will Afghanistan’s instability be detrimental to the people of this land, but it will also cause irreparable damage to neighboring countries. Therefore, it can be said with utmost seriousness that while Pakistan is struggling in the quagmire of corruption and decay, and with a sham front that has nothing left but its name, it wants to implement the plan presented by the United States.
