Afghanistan’s patience has run out, and Kabul has adopted a strategy that has completely taken the reins of the war from Islamabad. This war was previously limited along the DurandLine; now, it has transformed into a devastating response and unexpected attacks that retaliate against every invasion in the heart of Pakistan.

Afghanistan has now entered a frightening phase of war against Pakistan, where, after the initial phase of direct combat, drone technology is being used, and Afghanistan is directly targeting Pakistan’s military centers. This is something that has, for the first time, shattered the dreams of Pakistani generals in the war, as they once thought that the skies were theirs alone, but now they have realized that Kabul possesses drones capable of targeting sensitive military objectives in the heart of Pindi and Lahore.

Afghanistan’s retaliatory strikes continuously undermine the pride of the Pakistani army, a reality that Islamabad can not accept and, in retaliation, targets ordinary Afghans. In addition, Kabul has also resorted to cyber warfare as a silent but powerful weapon. If Afghans continue to advance and attack Pakistan’s banking systems, intelligence agencies, and military databases, the country will face irreparable instability, distrust, and ultimately fragmentation.

If the situation continues like this, the scope of the war will expand significantly from Afghanistan’s side, unconventional weapons and attacks will be used, and it will enter phases that Pakistan has not even considered. Kabul now has the capability to tear Pakistan apart from within, and this major threat to Pakistan’s survival will be beyond the reach of the rulers in Pindi. Pakistan must understand that in the Afghanistan-Pakistan conflict, the final bullet should belong to Afghanistan.

Afghanistan has other options as well, and if they are utilized, the direction of Pakistan will change forever. The Afghan government’s future steps may become the final chapter in Pakistan’s disintegration because Kabul has something that Pakistan does not. The support of Almighty Allah, a passionate nation, military skills, hidden military capabilities, centers of fatwas, Islamic armies, and many other things that are now with Afghanistan, if used against Pakistan, will face an uncontrollable storm. This time, a machine of vengeance has been set in motion that is beyond Pakistan’s control.
