The Nangarhar provincial media office reported that Iran’s Consul General in Nangarhar, Majid Reza Panah, met with the province’s governor, Mullah Mohammad Naeem Akhund, to discuss cooperation in the health and agriculture sectors, as well as the expansion of bilateral trade.
The discussions included training two doctors at the Cancer Hospital, developing an online training program for doctors at the Diabetes Control Hospital, building greenhouses in Nangarhar, and sharing best practices between cities.
Both sides also stressed the importance of creating greater business opportunities for traders across multiple sectors.
