According to Iranian media reports, the country’s judiciary executed a man named Esmail Fikri this morning on charges of espionage for the Israeli intelligence agency.

The IRNA news agency reported that Fikri was arrested in December 2023 during a series of intelligence operations.

Iranian authorities stated that he had direct contact with two Mossad officers and attempted to transfer sensitive and highly classified information to the Israeli intelligence network.

It is worth noting that in recent years, Iranian intelligence has arrested several individuals on charges of spying for Israel. About two months ago, another individual named Mohsin Langar Neshin was also executed on similar charges.
