Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, deleted a social media post in which he had announced that an Iranian delegation would travel to Islamabad later this evening to engage in talks with U.S. officials on the potential benefits of a ceasefire.

In his deleted tweet, Amiri Moghaddam stressed that ongoing ceasefire breaches by the Zionist regime, aimed at undermining diplomatic efforts, have sparked growing concern among the Iranian public.

This follows U.S. President Donald Trump’s reported rejection of Iran’s proposals, with the White House saying the Iranian list was literally thrown in the garbage, raising questions about whether his deputy, G.D. Vance, will join the Iranian delegation in Pakistan for talks amid security concerns.
