Mahr News Agency reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi spoke by phone with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres to discuss the recent U.S. and Israeli strikes and their possible repercussions.

During the talks, Araqchi emphasized that attacks on civilian centers represent a blatant breach of international law and humanitarian norms. He called on the international community to adopt a firm position against these strikes and to condemn them openly.

Secretary-General Guterres, for his part, underscored the necessity of upholding international law and urged actions to prevent further escalation of violence. He also noted the importance of strengthening diplomatic efforts to address the humanitarian and security consequences of ongoing regional conflicts.
