A deputy of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Seyed Mahmoud Nabavian, stated that global political and economic leaders should recognize that the Strait of Hormuz cannot be reopened through myths or Hollywood-style theatrics.

Following the failure of negotiations between Iran and the United States, Nabavian warned that the world would witness a new phase in the management of the Strait of Hormuz.

He further stated that political and economic leaders should recognize that the Strait of Hormuz cannot be controlled or reopened through fabricated narratives or theatrical displays.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump warned of a potential blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
