Bekdeli added that Tehran sees no obstacles to recognizing the Islamic Emirate.

The Iranian ambassador in Kabul stated that his country has relations with Afghanistan in various fields and that, at an appropriate time, it will announce the decision to grant recognition in order to further strengthen these relations.

He also said that border issues between Kabul and Tehran have largely been resolved and that constructive talks are ongoing to modernize the borders.
