In a letter to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Iran’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations stated that if the country faces a military attack, it will regard all bases and facilities of the attacking country in the region as legitimate targets.

This comes as U.S. President Donald Trump said during a “Peace Board” meeting in Washington that if Iran does not reach a meaningful agreement regarding its nuclear program, it will face very serious consequences within the next 10 to 15 days.

Meanwhile, The Washington Post, citing U.S. officials, reported that the Trump administration is prepared for a broad and long-term attack against Iran.
