Iran’s ISNA news agency reported that Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi arrived in Tehran on an official visit at the invitation of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. President Pezeshkian formally welcomed him at Saadabad Palace.
According to the Iraqi government, the two sides will discuss gas cooperation, bilateral relations, and regional developments in line with Iraq’s national interests.
The visit follows Al-Zaidi’s recent official trip to Washington, where he met with U.S. President Donald Trump.
