Ittehad-ul-Mujahideen Pakistan has issued a statement claiming responsibility for a combined armed and bombing attack on a security facility of the Pakistani military regime in the Fateh Khel area of Bannu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the statement, the movement’s fighters first blocked access routes leading to the security post. It adds that a vehicle packed with explosives was placed near the checkpoint and later detonated remotely from a distance.

Following the explosion, the statement notes that a coordinated armed attack was launched, and the security facility was taken over. It further claims that 29 police personnel stationed at the facility were eliminated.

Ittehad-ul-Mujahideen Pakistan also stated that its fighters seized a large quantity of light and heavy weapons from the facility.

The statement also issued a stern warning to police and security personnel in Pakistan, urging them to end cooperation with the regime’s military and security agencies.
