    Kabul and Moscow Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation

    In Moscow, Afghanistan’s Ambassador, Mawlawi Gul Hassan, held a meeting with Alexander Shkierando, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce, and Dmitry Antonov, Chairman of the Afghan-Russian Business Council.

    The Afghan Embassy in Russia stated that during the meeting, the Russian side expressed strong interest in investment and trade in Afghanistan, noting that favorable conditions for investment currently exist in the country.

    Ambassador Hassan briefed the officials on Afghanistan’s security and economic conditions and stressed the need to expand the import and promotion of Afghan products.

    Sources confirmed that both sides reiterated their commitment to deepening and expanding bilateral cooperation.
