Kabul Municipality has announced the successful recovery of 30 jiribs (15 acres) of illegally occupied land near Qargha Dam.
According to an official statement on its X page, authorities from the municipality’s 14th district took decisive action to reclaim the land, demolishing several unauthorized structures in the process.

Officials reported that in recent years, certain individuals had unlawfully constructed facilities on the land under various pretexts. After identifying these encroachments, authorities proceeded with their removal.

So far, 30 jiribs (15 acres) have been reclaimed, and the municipality has pledged to continue efforts to recover all illegally seized land in the area.
