The Ministry of Interior Affairs reported that Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani met in Kabul with participants of the international traditional wrestling competitions and extended a formal welcome to them to Afghanistan
He said the arrival of the athletes reflects progress and presents a positive image of the country, encouraging the athletes to take the message of peace and brotherhood from Afghanistan back to their countries.
Mr. Haqqani also praised the efforts of the Olympic, Physical Education and Sports Directorate, along with the event organizers, and assured them of continued cooperation and support.
