The Panjshir provincial office said in a statement that, as part of ongoing development projects, a literacy program has been launched for families of people with disabilities in two districts of the province.

According to the statement, the program is being implemented by the Panjshir Department of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs in Anaba and Dara districts, with a total cost of 211,937 US dollars.

The statement added that currently six new organizations have started or are about to start projects in Panjshir province, with a combined cost of around one million dollars.

It is also noted that dozens of projects funded by the Afghan government’s budget have begun in the province this year.
