Local media in Balochistan report a growing pattern of arrests and enforced disappearances of ordinary Baloch civilians by Pakistani military authorities in different parts of the province.

Sources note that in recent days, nine people have been detained and subsequently disappeared from the Panjgur and Jiwani areas of Balochistan.

According to the information, all those detained were laborers who were forcibly taken from their homes during the night.

Enforced disappearances in Balochistan have continued for a long period, with similar cases previously reported, including an incident in Karachi where Pakistani police detained and disappeared nine Baloch individuals, among them women.
