Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, who has recently been appointed as the Acting Minister for Refugees and Returnees, has expressed that he is not concerned about his transfer from the political deputy position at the Office of the Prime Minister. He emphasized that his focus remains on serving the people.
In his initial remarks to the ministry’s officials and staff, he stated, “Whether it’s a political deputy role, a ministry position, or any other responsibility, success can only be achieved through collective cooperation. I ask that you work with me just as you worked with the previous minister.”
During his first official visit, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir met with the Deputy of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and discussed the challenges and issues faced by Afghan refugees.
