    Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali Meets with Chinese Ambassador in Kabul

    The Minister of Public Health of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, met today (Tuesday) in Kabul with the Chinese Ambassador, Zhao Xing.

    The Ministry of Public Health stated that discussions during the meeting focused on providing equipment for Al-Shifa Hospital, implementing capacity-building programs in the field of traditional medicine, and reviewing the process and initiation of the expansion and reconstruction of Mirwais Regional Hospital in Kandahar.

    Mr. Jalali emphasized that strengthening the capacity of healthcare workers is essential for improving the healthcare system, and in this regard, he requested the Chinese Ambassador to initiate the reconstruction and expansion of Mirwais Regional Hospital.

    On the other hand, the Chinese Ambassador in Kabul stated that efforts will be made, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health, to begin the reconstruction and expansion work of Mirwais Regional Hospital.
