Acting Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noorjalal Jalali, inaugurated the newly established Public Institute of Health Sciences in Badghis province during his official visit.
According to the Ministry of Public Health, Mr. Jalali described the institute’s establishment as a significant achievement, emphasizing its role in addressing the existing gap in higher medical education within the province and addressing related challenges.
He further stated that the institute’s organizational structure has been fully developed, and a suitable location has been designated for its operations. The facility is expected to accommodate hundreds of students across four distinct academic departments.
Meanwhile, local residents of Badghis expressed gratitude to the visiting delegation from the Ministry of Public Health and requested further support for the healthcare sector. In response, the ministry’s leadership assured them of continued attention and cooperation.
