    Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi: Afghanistan Will Host the Upcoming ECO Summit

    Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi, said in an interview with National Television (RTA) that Kabul will host the upcoming summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

    Mr. Azizi stated that Afghanistan took on this hosting responsibility during the most recent ECO meeting.

    He added that during the conference of trade ministers of ECO countries, two days of discussions were held on technical matters, and he had meetings with many of the ministers.

    The Minister of Industry and Commerce said that Afghanistan will become self-sufficient in goods, poultry, batteries, and other sectors, and currently, production is taking place in 500 sectors within the country.

    He assured that within the next year, Afghanistan will achieve self-sufficiency in the cold storage sector.
