According to a statement from the Ministry of Justice, Acting Minister Sheikh Abdul Hakim Shara’i departed for Russia on Saturday to participate in the 13th session of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
The statement noted that justice ministers, along with judicial and legal officials from various countries, will attend the forum.
Mr. Shara’i is scheduled to address topics including the structure of laws, the need for reform in international legal frameworks, the promotion of justice, and the interim government’s stance on international engagement.
The three-day forum is scheduled to begin on Monday of the current week.
