The Minister of National Defense, Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, stated during a regular meeting of the Central Commission for Security and Clearance Affairs that security forces will remain alongside the people until their primary needs are fulfilled.
The Commission, in a press release, said that during the meeting chaired by Mr. Mujahid, participants expressed deep sorrow over the recent earthquakes and the resulting human and financial losses in the eastern provinces.
During the meeting, Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid described the suffering of the earthquake victims as a “shared sorrow” and praised the joint efforts and services of security forces, civil institutions, and the public.
The meeting also issued strict directives to the relevant institutions to accelerate the delivery of emergency aid and take comprehensive actions to restore normalcy to the lives of those affected by the earthquake.
